EBC Staff

The Eureka Baptist Church staff seeks to maintain the highest
level of professionlism, while at the same time extending a
compassionate touch to those who need Christ, and to help
Christians who need ministry, Biblical instruction,
and spiritual guidance.

Dr. Philip Hall	Pastor - Dr. Philip G. Hall Dr. Hall has a Doctorate in Ministry from the Luther Rice Bible College and Seminary. His ministry has included serving churches in West Virginia, Virginia, Arkansas, and North Carolina. He and his wife, Janith, have four sons. Three of their sons are married and their youngest is looking for his future wife. Believing that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, Dr. Hall often preaches through a book of the Bible ( see preaching schedule ), or a series of messages on a particular Bible topic. He believes that the Bible is very relevant to today's living and often uses explanation and illustration to show how God's Word applies to today's problems. His wife, Janith, serves the Lord alongside Dr. Hall in a supportive role. She is a much beloved soloist. She has served in other churches in both full time and part time positions as secretary and as Music Director. She is currently employed by Cape Fear Center for Digestive Diseases in medical records.
Rev. Thomas (Tom) Price	Associate Pastor for Evangelism and Education Rev. Tom Price has served in a number of positions in area churches. His educational background includes Cerritos Junior College, Cerritos, California; Golden West Junior College, Westminster, California; and he is presently attending Carolina Bible College. He is Chairman of the Board of Child Evangelism Fellowship, Sandhills Charpter; Board Member of Carolina Bible College; and a Board Member of Agape Pregnancy Support Services. He is the leader of several small group Bible studies, both at EBC and in the community; shares the Gospel at fairs, detention centers, and other area events; and assists evangelist Kerrigan Skelly with open-air preaching; member of the Great News Network of Seed Sowers. He is also a certified Crown Financial Ministries advisor. Rev. Price's ministry at EBC is to assist the Pastor in many areas of ministry including: teaching, preaching, guiding the Christian education organizations, and leading EBC in reaching out to bring people to Jesus Christ.
Karla Jordan	Choir Director Karla Jordan Ms. Jordan (Karla) became our choir director in 1995. She has had instruction in music theory, flute, and piano. Growing up in Germany, she sang in the high school choir and in the Madrigal Singers at Berlin Teacher's College. She is a kindergarten teacher at Montclair Elementary School and has a BA from Methodist Colled, an MA from FSU, and is National Board Certified as an Early Childhood Generalist. She has one grown son and two grandchildren.
Barbara Schultz	Pianist Barbara Schultz Ms. Schultz (Barbara) is our pianist. She has played piano most of her life and served in churches as pianist and assistant pianist. She has also played with the hand bells with The Regal Ringers of Cedar Falls Baptist Church, and she has played for the New South River Baptist Association Senior Adults. Barbara has a desire in her heart that God will be glorified as He uses her talent and gift of music.
Alissa Hall	Organist Alissa Hall In addition to duties as Co-Youth Director, Alissa recently became our church organist. Her UNCP minor was in Sacred Music specializing in organ. Previously she has been Church Organist for the Faith Baptist Church of Delco, NC. She also plays accompaniment for senior recitals at UNCP and the S. Paul's High School Choir.

EBC also has many faithful volunteers who fill positions of service in the church. These persons serve with great selfless dedication in the work that they do.
