On the morning of May 14, 2006, tragedy came into the lives of the Hall family (our Pastor), and our church. Her mother, Amber, found our beloved little Jessica dead in her room. Apparently she had rolled over the edge of her bed and became trapped between the bed rail and the wall. Despite absolutely heroic efforts by Aaron, her daddy, Jessica could not be revived. We are thankful for the fast response of the West Area Rescue even though there was nothing they could do.
Jessica was a very delightful part of the Eureka Baptist Church family and was a great joy to all the Hall family. They and our church are deeply grieved at her loss to us, but we understand that our loss is heaven's gain. None of us can comprehend why, but we are trying to trust our Lord and that wonderful verse of scripture, Romans 8:28 that informs us that God takes tragedies such as this and uses them according to His plan and purpose, and even uses them to our good.
